MUAY THAI ON THE BEACH — TRAINING AT KOH MAK VILLAGE

By S. N., from France, regular guest on Koh Mak — as posted on TripAdvisor. Koh Mak Village is above all a philosophy, an art of living.

The luxury of taking the time to live at your own pace, reconnecting with the elements and letting yourself be swept away by incredible encounters. You don’t come to Koh Mak Village by chance. Everyone has a good reason.

Why Guests Come to Koh Mak Village: Muay Thai, Yoga and Tennis

For some, it was practising Muay Thai in one of the most pleasant and welcoming gyms that was the trigger. For others, it’s yoga or tennis in a magnificent natural setting.

An Office in Paradise: Co-Working on Koh Mak

Some come here looking for an office in paradise. For an island that may seem timeless, the connectivity is exceptionally good and stable, and the co-working spaces invite creativity and collaboration.

Coral Reefs in Good Health

The island also has superb coral reefs that are relatively easy to access and in good health.

A Peaceful Place to Stay, Not a Tourist Destination

Koh Mak Village could be your home for months and months if you enjoy simplicity, peace and quiet, culinary diversity, gentle mobility, the sea and swimming, etc.

Fortunately, we’re a long way from the hustle and bustle of the city and the noise of the overcrowded islands. This is not a tourist destination, it’s a peaceful place to stay, with respect and dignity.

On Koh Mak, there are accommodation and food options to suit all tastes and budgets.

Easy Access from Bangkok

The ease of access from Bangkok surprised us. The Koh Mak village community helped us organise our stay in Bangkok and our transfer to the island.
